Scholarship

ISACA connects exceptional people with exceptional knowledge to provide student members a wide range of member values and benefits. Through the generous support of our members, the Denver Chapter of ISACA makes scholarships available on an annual basis.

Current full-time undergraduate or graduate students who are studying information systems, business, accounting, or computer science at an accredited college in Colorado are invited to apply.

REQUIRED ESSAY

Prepare a typed single-spaced essay that is 2-3 pages or a 3-5 minute video discussing a topic of your choosing from among the following four categories (examples of topics given in parentheses):

- IT Governance (e.g., how IBM's Smarter Planet Initiative effectively utilizes information technology to advance strategic goals for the company)

- IT Assurance (e.g., the importance of IT Assurance Services for outsourced IT services business models like Apptis, Inc.)

- IT Security (e.g., security issues surrounding the utilization of cloud computing)

- IT Risk Management (e.g., Integration of IT Risk Management with Enterprise Risk Management)
